Monique founded Aboutmyparents.com after working in acute care, nursing homes, home care and hospice when she realized that families were in need of guidance when it came to dealing with their aging parents. In her practice she has been advising adult children from all over the country for the last ten years. Monique possess a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and she also holds the certified geriatric care manager designation. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. As an army brat Monique grew up in Germany, and then lived in Carmel, California before moving to Keswick, Virginia in 2008 with her husband and two children.
